Not:He failed for he didn't study.(For cümlenin ortasında kullanılır.)

Anlamları "-dığı için"dir.Kendilerinden sonra isim alırlar.

Because of/On acount of/As a result of/As a consequence of/Due to/Owing to/Thanks to not studyinghe failed.(Çalışmadığı içinkaldı.)

Anlamları "bu yüzden" demektir.Kendilerinden önce nokta ya da noktalı virgül sonra ise virgül gelir.
He didn't study;therefore/thus/consequently/as a result/hence/as a result of thishe failed.(Çalışmadı;bu yüzden kaldı.)

2.Though(-e rağmen)
3.Even though(-e rağmen)

Not:Alt hough, Though, Even though birbirleri yerine kullanılabilir.

Ex:He studied a lot.He failed
Although he studied a lot he didn't pass his exam.(Çok çalışmasına rağmensınavı geçemedi.)

B.Conjuctions Having Nouns After Them
1.In spite of(-e rağmen)
2.Despite(-e rağmen)

Ex: Despite/In spite of studying a lot he didn't pass his exam.(Çok çalışmasına rağmen sınavı geçemedi.)

Not:"Despite/In spite of" kendinden sonra isim alır.Bundan dolayı gelen fiil ise Ving şeklinde yazılır.(Bu konu Gerund-Infinitive konusunda daha ayrıntılı işlenecektir.)

Eğer "Despite/in spite of" kendinden sonra "THE FACT THAT" diye bir yapı alırsa cümle aynen yazılır.

Ex: Despite/In spite of the fact that he studied a lot he didn't pass his exam.(Çok çalışmasına rağmen sınavı geçemedi.)

C.Conjuctions Used Between Two Sentences
1.Nevertheless(yine de)
2.Nonetheless(Yine de)
3.However(her nasılsa yine de)

NOT:Bu 3 bağlaçtan önce nokta ya da noktalı virgül sonra da virgül gelir.

Ex:He studied a lot.Nevertheless/however/nonetheless he didn't pass his exam.(Çok çalıştı.Yine de sınavı geçemedi.)

Ex:He saved money.He didn't buy a house.

Although/Though/Even though he saved moneyhe didn't buy a house.(Para biriktirmesine rağmenev almadı.)

Despite/In spite of saving money he didn't buy a house.(Para biriktirmesine rağmen ev almadı.)

Despite/In spite of the fact that he saved money he didn't buy a house.(Para biriktirmesine rağmen ev almadı.)

He saved money;however/nevertheless/nonethelesshe didn't buy a house.(Para biriktirdi;yine de ev almadı.)
